What no one sees coming...
Same as ever? Not quite.
Arigato, dear investor,
I’ve been reading Same as Ever by Morgan Housel recently, and today’s chapter really struck a chord.
It talks about how we can never truly be 100% prepared for risks.
Because the most catastrophic events?
They usually come from the things we least expect.

Take COVID-19.
Who could’ve imagined that a virus would spread across the world, shut down entire economies, and change how we live overnight?
Or 9/11.
Who would’ve thought that on a clear, sunny day in New York, planes would crash into the Twin Towers?
It was unthinkable — and that’s why no one was prepared for it.
This applies to investing too.
Today, we’re in the middle of an AI revolution.
And I’ve been asking myself…
With all this advancement, is Google prepared for a world where people might switch their search habits — from traditional Google Search to tools like ChatGPT or other AI-powered assistants?
Could this be a risk Google never saw coming?
I recently made a $5,000 bet on Google — and in my upcoming $5000 Growth Bet investing webinar (happening tomorrow 8pm!), I’m going to share:
✅ Why I invested in Google
✅ My honest thoughts on how they’re navigating the AI shift
✅ How I personally reduce risk in uncertain times — especially with options
