Arigato, {{ first name | dear investor }},
If you are living in SG, our MRT and bus rides are about to get more expensive. Is your money keeping up? 🚆
From 26 December, Singapore’s public transport fares will rise by 7%, with adults paying by card spending 12 or 13 cents more per journey, depending on the distance.

A few cents might not sound like much. But when you commute every day—and other everyday expenses rise too—it all adds up.
The main driver behind this hike is higher energy costs linked to the Middle East crisis, which make running our buses and trains more expensive.
Here’s what caught my attention: Singapore’s overall inflation was 2.3% in August, yet this public transport fare adjustment is 7%.
While these measure different things, it’s a reminder that the expenses you regularly pay can rise faster than the headline inflation number.
If your money grows slower than prices, the same dollars buy you less—even if your bank balance stays the same. 😅

That’s one reason I started investing over 10 years ago. I wanted to grow my money beyond inflation and build the freedom to live life on my own terms.
Over time, combining ETFs with options strategies has helped me build a million-dollar portfolio and generate monthly income from options.
For example, I collected over US$2,000 in options premiums over the past month.
Here are some of my trades:

For me, that freedom means being able to take month-long holidays, knowing I have an income stream coming from my options investments.
It took learning, patience, and managing risk. But understanding how it works can help you make more informed decisions about your money. 😀
If you’d like to learn with me, join my FREE live options investing masterclass next week.
It’ll be my final live class before I head to the US for a two-month holiday, so I’d love to see you there!
I’ll share how I combine ETFs and options, how these strategies can generate income, and the risks you need to understand—step by step.
You work hard for your money. Give yourself the knowledge to help it work for your future too.

See you in class!
