This hit me hard
I almost chickened out
Arigato, dear investor,
Today, something clicked for me.
And it happened in the middle of the mountains in Whistler, Canada.
Let me give you a bit of context.
I purposely flew all the way from Toronto to Vancouver this summer because this region has some of the most breathtaking scenery in Canada — and it’s perfect for hiking. I love hiking.

So for months, I’ve been researching which trail to go for. I finally picked one. Today was the big day.
But as I stood at the start of the trail, something happened.
I kind of… chickened out. 😅
Why?
Because I was traveling solo. The trail was wild, mountainous, and would take about 4–5 hours to complete.
I was scared of the unknown ahead.
But then I asked myself:
“Would I regret it if I didn’t do this?”
And deep down, I already knew the answer — yes.
This entire trip was planned for this moment.
So even with the fear and uncertainty, I chose to go ahead.
And guess what?
It turned out to be the most beautiful hike of my life.
Truly. I’ve never seen something so mesmerising.

And as I stood there, soaking in the views, this powerful realisation hit me:
Successful people don’t succeed because they’re fearless.
They succeed because they stick to their promise even when they’re scared.
They show up.
They act in the face of uncertainty.
And by doing so, they build trust in themselves — confidence, capability, and momentum.
It’s a virtuous cycle:
✨ You commit → you act → you grow → you become stronger → you commit even more.
So if you’ve ever doubted yourself, or felt that you’re not confident or capable enough —
Know that it’s not because you’re not good enough.
It’s likely because you didn’t fully commit…
Or you let fear and excuses get in the way.
I get it. I almost did too today.
But once you choose to move through the resistance and take action anyway,
That’s when your life begins to transform.
💡 Confidence is built by showing up for yourself.
Over and over again.
I hope this little story from the mountains inspired you in some way today.
If it resonated with you — even just a tiny reminder — I’d love to hear from you. Hit reply and let me know.
And if you're curious, here’s a short video I made during my hike, enjoy! 😃👇️
