Yesterday, I had the honour of speaking at NAS Summit, and something unexpected happened…

I met someone who completely shifted my perspective about financial education for kids.

Her name is Laura.

And funny enough — we actually met a few months ago before I flew to Canada. She attended a Success Resources event with her parents, the same event where she sat through talks, conferences, and workshops… together with them.

But yesterday, I finally learned something about her family that honestly shocked me.

When I heard the number, my jaw literally dropped.
Even as someone in the education space, I was stunned.

And she would just smile and say no — because she knows there’s something more meaningful she wants to pursue.

That’s when it hit me.

Financial education and personal development don’t start at 25, 30 or 40.
They start at home. They start young.

That $100,000 isn’t just a program cost.
It represents years of her parents teaching her and her brother about learning, about growth, about investing in themselves.

And now?
They have the mindset and head start that many families can’t even imagine.
