SLOW
you think?
Arigato, dear investor,
The past two days have been very special for me.
After I sent out that email asking for your feedback, I’ve been receiving submission after submission — screenshots, results, reflections from students who attended my programs (you can check it out here)
Every message means more to me than you know.
But one conversation in particular made me pause.
Her name is Zen.
Two years ago, Zen joined my 3-Day Options To Freedom ETF Mastery Bootcamp. Back then, she had very little knowledge about ETF selection or options. She simply knew one thing:
She wanted to start properly.
Fast forward two years.
She recently updated me that her portfolio has grown almost 40%.

When she told me, I said, “Wow, that’s amazing.”
But do you know what she said?
Here’s what she said:

She felt her portfolio was growing quite… “slowly.”
At 40%.
That made me reflect deeply.
Because sometimes, when we compare ourselves to the wrong thing, we completely lose sight of our actual progress.
This is what I replied:

Did you know, with her results:
She beat the market.
She outperformed the S&P 500.
And she even outperformed many professionally managed funds, unit trusts, and ILPs that can’t even beat the market consistently.
When I reframed it this way, she paused.
“Oh wow… I never thought about it like that.”
She had been comparing herself only to her own expectations.
And the moment she shifted her perspective, she could finally see the truth:
She did a really good job.
From someone who started with almost no knowledge in ETF selection and options…
To someone who compounded nearly 40% in two years.
That’s not slow.
That’s growth.
And this is something I want you to remember.
Once you start seeing results, don’t just compare blindly.
Compare wisely.
If you’re growing steadily…
If you’re making informed decisions…
If you understand what you’re investing in…
You are already on the right track.
Progress is not about chasing unrealistic expectations.
It’s about learning the right foundation, applying it step by step, and allowing compounding to do its quiet magic.
Zen’s journey is proof of something very important:
Anyone can learn.
You don’t need to be a finance graduate.
You don’t need to be “naturally good” at numbers.
You just need to be humble enough to learn and disciplined enough to apply.
And if you’re ready to start your investing journey properly — not guessing, not gambling, but learning step by step —
That’s exactly why I created my 3-Day Options To Freedom Program.
Inside, I teach you how to:
Select the right ETFs
Combine ETFs with options strategically to earn passive income
Build a portfolio with confidence

And most importantly…
When you start seeing results,
you’ll know how to measure them properly.
Because once you’re moving forward,
you’re already ahead of where you were yesterday.
Would love to have you join us,
and keep learning together—the Arigato way 💛
