I never thought I'd have to say this, but here we are—scammers are getting more and more rampant, and they’re now using my name to ask for money across various social media platforms.

Lately, I’ve even seen fake accounts claiming that I created my own token and asking people to buy it. Just to be clear—I have never, and will never, launch my own crypto token.

👉 I will never private message (PM) anyone on any social media platform to ask for money, to help you invest/trade, or to sell any so-called "exclusive token”.

My belief has always been simple: We don’t need shortcuts or get-rich-quick schemes. We grow wealth safely by learning how to invest and manage our money over time. That’s how I built my own million-dollar portfolio, and that’s how I teach my students to do it, the Arigato way.

Scams Aren’t Just Personal—Even Big Companies Fall for Them

Scammers don’t just target individuals. Some create a dream or vision so powerful that even the smartest investors fall for it.

I recently came across a fascinating case—Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos.

Holmes built an empire by claiming Theranos could revolutionize blood testing, but it was all fake. She convinced investors—including high-ranking government officials and even companies like Walmart—to pour in millions.

🚨 She was later convicted and sentenced to over 11 years in prison for fraud.

But what shocked me the most? So many intelligent people fell for it.

That’s why I always remind myself:

✔ We need to be extra careful when investing in a single company.
✔ We must be clear on how the company makes money and whether it’s actually profitable.

🚩 A Business Model I’m Skeptical About

Here’s an example of a company I personally wouldn’t invest in: Mode Mobile.

They claim they’re "unlocking a trillion-dollar industry by monetizing our mobile phones." Sounds impressive, right? But when I dig deeper…

❌ They don’t explain how they actually monetize.
❌ They don’t reveal how much money they’re making (net profits).

Now, I’m not saying it’s a scam—I just wouldn’t put my money into something I don’t fully understand.

Before investing in any private equity or stocks, I always ask myself these two questions:

👉 How does this company actually make money?
👉 Is it already profitable (or at least on the path to profitability)?

If I can’t get clear answers, I walk away. Simple.
