Today, my new Instagram account officially hit 10,000 followers. 🥹❤️

And I’m feeling incredibly grateful.

Because what makes this milestone special isn’t really the 10K.

It’s the story behind it.

My old Instagram account was started around 2018.

And it took me almost 7 YEARS to reach around 7,000 followers.

To be fair, I wasn’t very focused on Instagram back then, and I definitely didn’t have a proper posting strategy either.

Then, for some reason, last October I decided to create a brand-new Instagram account just as a backup.

Of course, I wasn’t actively posting there either because I was still much more attached to my old account… I mean, that was where all my followers were! 😂

So my new account was really just sitting there quietly in the background.

Little did I know…

That “backup account” would soon become my MAIN account.

A few months after creating it, something completely unexpected happened.

My old Instagram account got hacked and reported by scammers claiming that I was the scam account. 😭

I ended up losing access to my old Instagram for almost TWO months.

At first, I was honestly really discouraged.

Imagine spending 7 years slowly building something, only to suddenly lose access to it.

But since I couldn’t post there anymore, I had no choice but to start doubling down on my new account.

Eventually, I managed to get my old account back.

But by then, I realised something.

Trying to manage TWO Instagram accounts was distracting me.

So instead of going back to my old account just because it had more followers, I made a decision:

I stopped posting there and went ALL IN on my new account.

Looking back, I really believe that sometimes when one door closes, God opens another window for you. ❤️

Because once I had the clarity to focus on ONE account, everything started moving much faster.

I became more consistent.

I had a proper posting strategy.

I understood what content works and what doesn’t better.

And most importantly, I had YEARS of experience behind me.

And today…

That little “backup account” has not only surpassed my old account…

It officially hit 10,000 followers. 🎉

It took me almost 7 YEARS to reach 7K followers on my old account.

But it took me only around 7 MONTHS to reach 10K on this one. 🤯

To be exact, 8700 followers in 3 months since I lost my old account.

And this entire experience made me realise something that applies SO MUCH to investing too:

When I started my new Instagram account, technically I was starting from zero followers.

But I wasn't the same person who started in 2018.

I had years of experience.

I knew what mistakes I had made.

I knew what worked and what didn’t.

I had better skills, better clarity and, this time, a proper strategy.

The account was new. But I wasn't.

And investing is exactly the same.

Maybe you’ve invested before and lost money.

Maybe you bought the wrong stocks.

Maybe you entered at the wrong time.

Maybe you tried options without a proper system.

Or maybe you’ve been investing for YEARS but still feel like your results aren’t where you want them to be.

That doesn’t mean you have to spend another 5 or 10 years struggling.

Because all those past experiences — even the mistakes — can actually make you a BETTER investor. 😊

The key is learning how to correct those mistakes and finally having a proper system to follow.

With the right knowledge, strategy and guidance, your next chapter can move much faster than your previous one.

Just like my Instagram journey.
