I’ve decided to write a short summary so you can still catch the gist of what we covered in the 1.5-hour Arigato Market Updates (Wild Swing Profits Edition) workshop.

Here’s what we went through:

📊 Why the market is volatile right now
We discussed how contradictory data from the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Producer Price Index (PPI) is confusing investors.

• CPI came in lower than expected → showing tariffs aren’t biting as hard (yet).

• PPI came in higher than expected → showing businesses are paying more to produce goods/services.

👉 My personal view: this will eventually feed into CPI, and we’ll likely see higher consumer prices in the coming months.
👉 The key date to watch: the Fed’s FOMC meeting in mid-Sep.

• If rates are cut → expect bullish moves.

• If rates stay flat (or go up) → prepare for big volatility ahead.

⚡ How to potentially profit from wild swings
I introduced the Straddle strategy — an options approach that benefits from big movements in either direction.

But here’s the catch: it only works if the move is significant. Minor moves won’t be profitable, so the right mindset and skillset are crucial before using this strategy.
