Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️

Let me tell you what happened yesterday!

I walked into a room full of founders, investors and builders — and honestly, I felt like a student again.

I was invited to speak and moderate a panel with Entrepreneur Media APAC. On stage with me were people I deeply respect:

• Vinod Nair from MoneySmart Group

• Oliver Tan from ViSenze

• Magnus Grimeland from Antler

• Chan Ming Yang from MU GUA Media Pte Ltd

• Marjorie Poon from EMERGE Group

We talked about AI.
We talked about the creator economy.
We talked about communities.

But let me tell you what really hit me.

One founder said something along the lines of:

“If you’re slow, you’re invisible.”

AI is moving so fast. New tools every week. New platforms every month. The people who learn early… they get ahead early.

And I sat there thinking…

Isn’t investing the same?

The people who start early.
Who learn the right foundations early.
Who position themselves early.

They don’t need to rush later.

But here’s the part I loved most.

Even in a room talking about AI and speed and scaling…

Everyone agreed on one thing.

If you lose trust, you lose everything.

In a world full of automation and algorithms…
People still choose who they trust.

And that reminded me of you.

You didn’t follow me because I promised “get rich quick.”
You stayed because you want to do it properly. Safely. Calmly. The Arigato way.

During the VIP dinner after, I had smaller, deeper conversations.

I spoke with Shawn Tan from TRIVE Ventures — he recently co-founded an AI language learning game called Call Me Sensei (and yes, I’ve been playing it now 😆).

I also chatted with Kelvin Teo from Funding Societies and of course my business besit Sabrina Princessa Wang.

Do you know what I noticed?

The most successful people are not the loudest.

They are just constantly improving. Quietly upgrading. Always thinking, “How can I serve better? How can I solve this better?”

That’s the spirit I want to bring back to our community.

Not hype.
Not noise.
Just steady upgrading.
