I was shocked to learn this...
This truth will save me tons of money!
Arigato, dear investor,
Lately, I’ve been taking a hard look at my insurance portfolio, and let me tell you, I was shocked by some of the things I learned.
Here’s something that really threw me off: Did you know that your hospitalization plan can actually cover most of your medical treatment, whether it’s for an accident, cancer, or any major disease?
Honestly, I always thought the main reason people buy critical illness plans is for the medical coverage, but here’s the twist: Critical illness plans actually pay out a lump sum (let’s say $500k if you opt for that amount). This payout is designed to cover living expenses during your recovery—not medical bills. Your hospitalization plan already takes care of the treatment! Who knew?
And here’s the kicker: for most of my life, I’ve been following the insurance plans passed down to me by my dad’s AIA agent. As I got older, though, I started realizing that some of these old plans may not be the best options for me anymore.
So, I’m revamping my entire insurance portfolio before I take a six-month sabbatical to Canada. My goal? To either save more money on my insurance or at least get better coverage for the premiums I’m already paying.
I’ve even marked some policies in red that I’m thinking of canceling, because they’re either unnecessary or, honestly, I can get similar coverage elsewhere for much cheaper.

Here’s the question for you: Do you want me to keep you updated on my final insurance choices and the new plans I’m switching to? I’ll be sharing some tips along the way that could help you save money on your own insurance policies.
If you’re interested, just reply with “I’ve got you covered,” and I’ll send you more updates in the future! 😃

Here’s why workplace life insurance might not be enough
Unexpected events shouldn't leave your loved ones financially exposed. And while employer coverage is a nice perk, it usually only offers 2x your salary – far below the recommended 10-15x for real security (especially with dependents). Term life insurance can bridge the gap with customizable, affordable plans. Money’s Best Life Insurance list can help you find coverage starting at just $7/month, providing the peace of mind your family deserves.
