Arigato, dear investor,

Yesterday was honestly one of the most fun and memorable days I’ve had in a long time!

Together with Sethisfy and the Joyful Investors, we joined a Penang Amazing Race competition organised by PhillipCapital… and wow, it was MUCH harder than I expected 😂

We endured the hot sun.
Took multiple wrong turns.
Walked long distances around George Town.
Hunted for murals, local food spots, and hidden attractions all around Penang.

And after all that…

our team came in 3rd place 🥉

Did we win the top prize?

Nope 😆

But strangely enough… I didn’t feel disappointed at all.

Because somewhere along the journey, I realised something very important.

The BEST part was never the prize.

It was the process.

It was laughing together while trying to figure out clues.
It was discovering beautiful Penang streets and historical places we would never have explored otherwise.
It was learning about the culture, the food, the people, and creating memories together.

And honestly…

that reminded me so much about investing.

Sometimes in investing, not every pick will become the “winning stock.”
Not every ETF will immediately go up.
Not every trade will be perfect.

But that doesn’t mean you are losing.

Because every step along the journey…
you are learning.
You are growing.
You are becoming wiser.
You are building your future little by little.

And most importantly…

the journey towards financial freedom can actually become a very meaningful and enjoyable one when you know what you are doing 😊

That’s why I’m so passionate about teaching investing.

Not because investing is about “getting rich overnight.”

But because investing can genuinely shorten the path towards freedom, peace of mind, and having more choices in life.
