Guess what I’m doing in Canada?

If you told me 10 years ago that I’d be living on a horse sanctuary in Canada for a month...
I’d probably laugh and say, “I wish.”

But here I am.

Surrounded by majestic horses, waking up to fresh mountain air, and ending each day with a grateful heart (and sore legs 💪).

Today’s my first day on the job — and by “job” I mean volunteering at this beautiful sanctuary. I fed the horses, helped clean their barns, got hay all over me... and somehow, when they nuzzled up to me at the end of the day, it felt like the warmest hug ever.

No, I don’t get paid doing this.
But in return, I get to stay in a beautiful cottage, eat nourishing meals, and live close to nature. I’m even learning how to cook! (Shoutout to bak kut teh spice packs from Singapore — lifesaver 😄)

It’s wild to think how different life used to be.

10 years ago, I was a journalist in Singapore — stuck in the 9-to-5, terrified of taking time off. Back then, I had only one source of income: employment.
No work = no pay.
No security. No freedom.

But slowly, consistently, I started investing.
Learning.
Building.

And now?
I can be anywhere in the world — even a horse farm — and still have income flowing in from my portfolio.

Before I left for Canada, I told you in my market update:
📉 That crash was a golden opportunity.
Don’t try to time the market.

Well guess what?
The market has already rebounded.

Many of the positions I bought during the dip are now in the green.
