Arigato, dear investor,

A month ago, something interesting happened.

My mom came to me and said: “Chloe… you better sell your stocks.”

She sounded serious.

“Trump is unpredictable, the war is ongoing… the market is very volatile now. It’s too risky.”

And I paused for a moment.
Because I knew she wasn’t wrong to feel that way.

She was just… worried for me.

So I smiled and told her, “Mom, don’t worry. I’ve got it under control.”

And guess what?
I didn’t listen. 😅 

Fast forward to today…
The market has rebounded.
Prices recovered.
Opportunities showed up.

And my portfolio?
Still growing. Quietly. Consistently.

Now here’s the honest truth.

If I had listened to her…

I would have sold in fear.

And I would have missed the recovery.

And over time, I would never have built the kind of wealth I’m enjoying today.

But here’s the thing most people don’t talk about.

The people who give you advice…

Usually mean well.

Your parents.
Your friends.
Even your colleagues.

They want to protect you.

But…

👉 Good intentions ≠ good investing advice

Because investing is a skill.

And if someone has never gone through market cycles,
never managed volatility,
never built a portfolio…

Then following their advice can cost you years of growth.

That’s why I always remind my students:

Be very careful who you listen to.

Because the right advice…

Can grow your wealth.

But the wrong advice…

Can unknowingly destroy it.

And this is exactly why,
