Buffett's letter 💌

have you read?

In partnership with

Arigato, dear investor,

Today, I took a moment to read Warren Buffett’s latest Thanksgiving letter. 💌
He’s 95 this year — and reading his words felt like receiving a lifetime of wisdom, not just from a brilliant investor, but from a truly kind human being.

In his letter, Buffett reminded us about gratitude, kindness, and giving back.
He said, “Greatness does not come from money or fame, but from helping others. Kindness is costless, but also priceless.”

As I reflected on his message, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude too.

  • Grateful for my family, who gave me their unconditional support when I first started.

  • Grateful to have grown up in Singapore — a place that gave me access to good education and countless opportunities.

  • And most of all, grateful for you — my students and my fellow community members — who trust me to guide you in your investing journey.

The more I travel, the more I realise how blessed we truly are.

Today, while visiting a winery in Portugal, the guide shared that the average salary here is only €4–5 per hour, and most people earn about €800–900 a month.

It made me pause.

Because despite the rising costs in Singapore, we’re still supported by affordable housing, good infrastructure, and a fair system that gives most people a chance to grow.

I know it sounds a bit random, but I just want to say — thank you.
For being part of this journey.
For striving to become better investors, kinder humans, and for sharing this path of freedom with me.

If you have a quiet moment tonight, I hope you’ll read Buffett’s full letter too.
It’s one of those rare reads that touches both the mind and the heart ❤️
