big "AHA" for me
It took me 15 years to see this
Arigato, dear investor,
Two days ago, I woke up feeling… overwhelmed.
Running workshops.
Posting content across social media platfroms.
Hosting podcasts with professional fund managers and seasoned traders.
Preparing my own bootcamp.
Holding space for all of you.
I found myself asking God in the morning:
“Why do I have to be so busy?
Why does it feel so overwhelming sometimes?
Can I just have a little more peace?”
And then something beautiful happened.
The Answer Was Right In Front Of Me
When I opened my eyes after that prayer, I saw a painting on my wall.
It has been there since I was a teenager.
More than 15 years.

It’s a painting of a house in autumn.
I’ve always loved it because:
I love autumn.
I love nature.
I love the feeling of quiet, crisp air and falling leaves.
But here’s the strange thing…
I don’t live in autumn in Singapore.
And I definitely don’t have a big countryside house like that here.
So why did this painting always feel so familiar?
Then It Hit Me
I looked closer.
And suddenly I realized…
That house looked exactly like the farmhouse I stayed in when I was in Canada last year.
Last year, I spent almost half a year there.
Traveling.
Volunteering on a horse farm.
Waking up to crisp autumn air.
Feeling completely at ease.
And the farmhouse I stayed in…
Looked almost identical to the painting that has been hanging in my room for 15 years.
The same structure.
The same warm autumn tones.
The same peaceful energy.
In that moment, I just sat there in silence.
Because I realized…
The dream had already been planted in my life a long time ago.

You Are Not Behind
That house was “on its way” to me for 15 years.
I didn’t force it.
I didn’t even consciously plan it.
But one day, I found myself living inside the very picture that had been quietly watching over me since my teenage years.
And suddenly, all that stress melted a little.
Because I realized:
You are not too slow.
You are not behind.
You are not lost.
Some dreams take 5 years.
Some take 15.
But they are already in motion.
Just like in investing — seeds take time to compound.
Warren Buffett didn’t build his wealth overnight.
Compounding is quiet.
It’s invisible… until one day, it isn’t.
Life works the same way.
Maybe You’re In Your “Planting” Season
If you’re feeling overwhelmed right now…
Maybe you’re not behind.
Maybe you’re building.
Maybe the busyness is part of preparation.
Maybe the stress is refining you for something bigger.
That farmhouse wasn’t random.
It was alignment.
And I believe the same for you.
This Chinese New Year…
As we step into a new year, I don’t just wish you wealth.
I wish you clarity.
Peace.
And the courage to dream bigger.
Because what you consistently see in your heart…
What you quietly long for…
What you imagine over and over again…
It may already be on its way.
Start dreaming again.
You are not late.
You are becoming.
May this Horse Year bring you:
The courage to run boldly toward your dreams 🐎
The stamina to stay steady when things feel overwhelming
The wisdom to choose peace over pressure
And the abundance that matches the impact you’re creating
