Arigato, dear investor,

Yesterday, I visited the 9/11 Memorial Museum and it completely blew my mind.

Before this, I honestly didn’t understand the magnitude of what happened that day.
I knew about the terrorist attack, but I didn’t fully grasp the scale.

It wasn’t just two planes crashing into buildings.
It was a coordinated attack with 4 planes hijacked.
It brought down both Twin Towers — each standing at 110 storeys high — and nearly 3,000 innocent lives were lost in just one single day.

From civilians on the planes, to office workers in the World Trade Center, to the Pentagon, to the brave firefighters and police officers who rushed in to save others…
It was a tragedy that shook the entire world.

But what truly amazed me was the resilience of the American people.

One of the museum staff, a firefighter who was actually on the ground that day, shared something powerful:nWhile 3,000 lives were lost, over 16,000 people managed to escape safely because of the quick evacuation.

It was also strangely fortunate that many people didn’t show up for work that morning — some stayed up late the night before watching a national football game, some were sending their kids to school (it was the first day of school after summer break).
If not, the death toll could have easily reached over 50,000 people.

It’s been 24 years since the attack.
The U.S. has gone through wars, recessions, financial crises, and even a pandemic.
Yet, the economy has recovered, and the US stock market $SPY ( ▲ 0.5% ) has risen by more than 500% since 2001.

The world can seem chaotic right now — especially with the current war escalating between Iran and Israel and the U.S. getting involved.

But if history has shown us anything, it’s this:
Humans will rise again. Economies will recover. The stock market will grow.

Wars and crises are not the end. They are painful, but they also bring opportunities.
