I still can’t quite believe it…

My YouTube channel finally crossed 10,000 subscribers! 🎉

It’s been a long journey. Can I tell you something funny?

The first video I ever posted was 8 years ago… and it wasn’t about investing, or personal finance…

It was literally me eating chicken rice in Singapore’s Chinatown. 😅🍗

Back then, I had no clue what my channel was about. I tried so many things…
➡️ Food content
➡️ Travel vlogs
➡️ Even relationship topics

It wasn’t until about 4 years ago that I finally found my direction — teaching investing and personal finance. Empowering others to build wealth safely, confidently, and with peace of mind.

If you visit my channel now, you won’t see most of those old videos — I deleted them to keep things focused. But I kept my first 2 videos from 8 years ago… to remind myself where I started.

It wasn’t always smooth. I struggled for years to grow this platform… Just like how I struggled to figure out investing at the beginning.

I tried:
⚡ Trading
⚡ Scalping
⚡ Value investing
⚡ All kinds of complicated options strategies…

And yes, I lost money. Just like I “lost time” figuring out my YouTube journey.

But I kept going… and eventually found what works for me:
✅ ETF investing
✅ Combined with a few simple options strategies

That’s what gave me the consistency and freedom to build the million-dollar portfolio I have today.

So here’s my little reminder to you — it’s okay if you’re still figuring things out.

Whether it's building your wealth, your career, or your passions — the journey takes time.

But from speaking to hundreds of investors, I’ve noticed something interesting…
Most of them, after years of trying complex methods and losing money, eventually come back to the same truth:
